Particularly I've noticed Linux has quite a following, and there are still a good few die-hard Archimedes supporters around to which I feel a certain loyalty. Also the new Macintoshes may well revive the Mac as a games machine. I'd like to know what interest there is in a port of V2000 to these platforms. This would largely be a labour of love, as I suspect it won't make huge commercial sense, but from a professional point of view we need to have an idea if we will cover our costs. If you feel strongly enough that you'd probably buy it if it were on one of these platforms, please send a vote to one of the following: acorn@frontier.co.uk For Archimedes version linux@frontier.co.uk For an Intel compatible Linux version mac@frontier.co.uk For a Macintosh version Multiple messages will be ignored, and please put your real name in the body text. These will not be read by a person, but collated automatically - you should get an automated reply. Please don't abuse this experiment! Also - please don't take this as a contest - it is not an either/or thing. Thanks for your time. David Braben PS We know people want an Elite IV. This is for V2000 *ONLY* - thanks ;-) -------------------------------- In article , S.Challands wrote: > > On Mon, 16 Nov 1998, Sendu Bala wrote:> > > > How about an up-to-date version of Zarch? _God_ I loved that > > > game.
